JOUY31, despite your warnings, I think we might have paid over the odds for taxis once or twice! Once was the taxi from the airport to the GB who charged us EUR 32 (and muttered something about tolls) and the other was the driver who took us from Syntagma to the funicular station on Likavitos hill who offered a flat fee of EUR 7 rather than turn on the meter. Given that my trip to Glyfada cost EUR 11.50, EUR 7 seems a bit steep for a journey which we can (and Pyeinthesky and I did - although downhill) walk!
