Personally, I think it was a yellow card foul, plus the shove, which you can also give a yellow for. I'm guessing the ref summed up the two yellows into one red card to get it over with. Bad luck for England that they've found yet another idiot who can't behave himself on the pitch to play for them. *sigh*
