Wow! I did open up a can of worms! Thanks for the discussion thus far.

I would say I have an average hair growth. It needs to be shaved everyday - the gorilla starts to come out about 36 hours after the shave. I do have a thick follicle right now, even after shaving the stubble can still be seen.

I want to make the best "first guess" because I don't think I can simply return an electric if I didn't like it. Perhaps Costco would be my best bet for this.

How often do the blades need to be replaced / oiled? Are the wet ones that much better of a shave or are they that much more convenient? I'll start to check out some of the recommendations here - thanks for the thoughts amigos - Keep them coming!
