For Singapore, CX is a great idea. Like others have suggested, try and see
if you can get an around the world on OW. (if your trip lasts over 10 days)
but for ORD-DEL.. AA will be the fastest way and direct way.
Air Sahara can fill your domestic or SIN trip within/from India.
You also have jet airways, kingfisher and spicejet for domestic segments.
you can also choose SQ from BLR/SIN route. not a OW, but a very good
airline. you could choose the same for DEL-SIN
