The amount is only posted in US dollars in the tax booths at the airport -- the peso amount has to be computed based on the current exchange rate.
It's a legacy from when it was one peso = one dollar and the entity wishing to collect the money didn't trust that the government as a whole would give them the funds without squatting on it first. And the debt payments due from the relevant airport-related entity were generally dollar denominated.

Sadly, Argentina has lost to the Germans in the penalty shoot out. Argentina played a better game, was ahead for almost the entire game and had the good goal keeper out due to injury. I guess I will not be celebrating in Argentina.
