Not Sure how helpful but BMI fly to Durham Tees Valey which is close enough to NCL to be useable, else SleazyJet do NCL-SXF perhaps air berlin, germanwings or flydba etc could connect? As your gathering decent flights to "the toon" (NCL) are a bit hard to come by! Good Luck though.
