On your advice I called TG in Melbourne today. Took them a while, but they eventually found a record of me sending all the paperwork in. it seems that its all done by hand because she said "I just need to get the journal" when I asked if my papers had been received, and then spend a while searching thru papers for my name.

In anycase, she said that they had received the request and forwarded it to Bangkok. She also advised it would be about 6 weeks to come back..

Made me wonder why TG don't give regional offices the power to credit miles. UA have done it for me before, both giving and of course taking away. Why does it need to go to BKK?
