I've got some experience eating Korean BBQ in various cities in Korea itself and they have quite a lot of variety on offer. Everything from the cheapish pork samgyopsal to Kobe/Wagyu beef type top end BBQ. The latter I had in a small town backstreet restaurant in two courses, first a tartare type marinated raw selection followed by two BBQ plates. Cost was maybe 150 USD pear head for the meats plus drinks.
