And what part of the question wasn't clear to you? The question, to me, asked whether reserving a car in the eligible class, but being upgraded by the agency out of the class into a higher (ineligible) car would make the reservation ineligible.

The times I've been upgraded to a higher class car, my rental agreement still reflected that I paid for a car in the class that I reserved. If the upgrade doesn't change the class paid, I don't think there would be a problem.
