Again, you're misunderstanding. QUAUP's are published as booking into the A booking code. The above screenshot demonstrates a bug in United's IT system. It should NOT be that way. Indianboy's BWI-DEN flight should show booking code "A" and his DEN-PHX should show booking code "Y." If that fare really booked into the "Q" bucket on both flights, then he would not be seeing the F seat map on the next screen when he goes to select his seats.

Another example, I had a segment on an FUA ticket show booking class "E", which is clearly not correct. UA has been made aware of it multiple times.
