Imagine my delight this morning when I received this email from AA:

In appreciation for your patience during this situation, we've added 9,000 Customer
Service Bonus miles to your AAdvantageŽ account. You should see this mileage
adjustment in your account very soon.

The funny thing is I was not that much inconvenienced. I was going standby on that flight because I screwed up my reservations.
