One thing to watch with Hawaii, if you're a Marriott person, is that a lot of the properties are changing ownership in July.

I have a trip scheduled for the Christmas week to Oahu and Kauai. Two of the properties, a Ren in Oahu and a Courtyard in Kauai will both be changing hands. The Oahu property required a rebook, while the Kauai change is honoring the points-stay, but only with paper certs.
