I'm looking at upgrading my regular Priority Club membership to a Gold membership by paying for it so I can get the 10% bonus on all stays and I was wondering when the information on the official website says I get the bonus on the base points, does that mean I get them on the total amount of points that I earn regardless of stay.

For example, I stay 2 nights at a Holiday Inn or a Crowne Plaza but I don't order any extra's like room service or a pay-movie so I take it that I get the bonus on top of the points that I would have gotten for the stay on its own.
