We're travelling Saturday CW to Spain on holiday and have a 30kg allowance according to our confirmation / e-ticket. The allowance has disappeared from the Manage my Booking screen and in it's place it says

"The baggage allowance needs to be checked with the flight operator".

On checking under baggage on BA it is a little confusing - it states:-

For all other international routes:-
(including BA Connect London City Airport routes)
Club World / Club Europe 30 kg

European Routes 23 kg

So which is it? If it's 23kg we're buggered with 2 sets of golf clubs as well as suitcases. Surely they can't have changed this allowance down to 23kg yet without any notification to passengers. I thought the changes come into effect in October. I have to say our main reason for paying the extra for Club was the luggage allowance.
