So don't fault EK with not having a can opener or not wanting to eat your own food.
Only problem is that EF told them to bring canned food.When a way was devised to open can then told no way of heating food.If food had been prepared at home there would have been a 5 to 6 hour wait till boarding plane when food could not be refrigerated.This would be an unacceptable risk for food poisoning.
Also have had no problems getting a meal on QF,AA,MH and JAL.Only EF that refused to provide a meal.So I dont accept your criticism.
