No airline stocks can openers on-board. I remember, when the person in the seat next to me, wanted to re-heat her baby's bottle on an American Airlines flight (operated on a Boeing 737), the flight attendent quipped "oh ma'am, this is a 7-3-7 not a 7-11")

So don't fault EK with not having a can opener or not wanting to eat your own food.
