Baltimore seems to be dominated by Marriott with several nice properties in the Inner Harbor area. I sayed at the Sheraton last year which is adjacent to the convention center and houses a Morton's restaurant. It was very nice. There are a couple nice boutique properties in Fell's Point but I would think they would be a better choice for a couple than a business meeting.
