I have e privilege card, and every time I have used it (at least 10 trups this year) I have always been upgraded, and when needed I was always able to late checkout. I truly think Sofitel is one of the best hotel companies, even though they may not have a strong presence in some major US cities. With all that said, I have had my fair share of problems trying to have my stays credited to my Sofitel account.
