But from those of you more experienced than myself, IF I opened a 2nd BAEC account in UK (to get some of those nice Tesco miles - I have loads and loads of clubcard vouchers) are BA internal systems good enough to pick up on the fact that the same name is registered in 2 places?

I wish to keep my name on the BAEC household account in USA, so that all my miles can be used by my parents, when they travel from US to UK - I do alot more travelling than them, and I prefer that they are able to travel at the front end of the plane

Ofcourse, I would also like to turn those Tesco points to BA miles - and I have a UK address, so this would not be an issue

Any pointers are welcomed - thanks
I have/had multiple BAEC accounts -- with a good number opened up by BA itself without any direct involvement on my part. And years later they are still there, except for the ones I cared to push for them to merge. Some were in the same geographic zone, some were not. I guess if BAEC were to run searches, they could probably shut down or merge multiple accounts. But with different addresses and some "different" identifying information in the accounts, the likelihood of negative consequences for most such circumstances diminish.

What about relocating the (US) BA account to the UK?
