Have you priced flight through, say, LGA? It may sound ridiculous, but you may want to buy insULT fares and route yourself through LGA and fly MCO-LGA-RSW. Heck, you get to spend a ton of time in the comfy DL coach seats, and earn more MQM miles than a direct flight - and the cost may be the same, or gosh, even cheaper !!!!
