Here is a basic calculation, does this seem right to everyone???:
A 5000 mile base journey in M and D/before and after
Currently (M)
10000 Base
10000 PM bonus
Total: 20000 (10032 Base)
Currently (D)
10000 Base
10000 PM Bonus
5000 Biz Bonus
Total: 25000
Next Year (M)
15000 Base
10000 PM Bonus
5000 (miles rather than 500's)
Total: 30000 (15000 Base)
Next Year (D)
20000 Base
10000 PM Bonus
5,000 (miles rather than 500's)
Total: 35000 (20,000 Base)
Seems okay to me personally, although I can see where it will rub a lot of people the wrong way! Personally this situation will have me earning PM in about 40% less flying (like that would make me cut down my flying anyway!?!)</font>
I was under the impression that the multiplier was only for elite qualification and not for mileage accrual. This calculation, using that logic seems incorrect. You're adding "multiplied" base and bonus. What does that total mean, if anything? Please correct me if I'm wrong.
