I have been working a little on how to get to Phuket (BKK actually)
for my Holiday Inn stay Oct 1-30.

I thought it might be interesting to use my next
Toronto-Cyprus ticket to start with.

Best I found so far is $560 all in LCA-BKK on Egyptair.
Egyptair may not be so comfortable, I suppose, and no miles.....

Looking at burning miles, the mileage levels on most programs
for Europe-Asia i.e. ex-MXP, FCO, or LCA are higher than I expected,
i.e. roughly the same or more than if originating in USA going transpac !!

If anyone has any other ideas on how to do better
I would love to hear them !!
