First, realize you are talking about Spokane. This Doubletree is a great choice if you are in Spokane. I stay there three times per year; the last time a few months ago. The lounge is very nice and accommodating - good food and drinks. Great staff. The steak house is very good. The rooms viewing the river are not worth extra $$. Many good food and bar options in walking distance.

If you want to stay in a much better place near by, go to Coeur d'Alene Idaho and stay at the Coeur d'Alene hotel.
