Stop the INSANITY!!!

The answer to fighting highjackers and terrorists lies in outsmarting them, not a wildwest shootout!

The US leads the world in technology. We already have all the tools to prevent highjackings from happening in the first place--this is not a mission to Mars! It is just a question of who is going to pay for it. I say add it as a security tax to our airline tickets.

We don't need to resort to hand to hand combat with axes! This might be more dramatic but I think most passengers would prefer not to have "a war" in the cabin.

You may be a police officer, however you are definitely NOT A SKY MARSHALL and that is EXACTLY why they are specially trained to subdue highjackers without putting passengers at peril and this is EXACTLY why President Bush and most of Congress were against arming pilots.
