Is the 772 really a 777 200?

Sorry if this has been asked before, but I couldn't find it when I searched.

Mr. Tb and I are flying from CDG to ATL and the AF equipment is listed as a 772. When I go to SeatGuru, there's no 772, but there is a 777 200. Are these the same planes? (I'm trying to choose seats and am trying to avoid the ones with "limited underseat storage".)
