I traveled in the second floor of the coach car. The dining car usually connects with the lounge car, where you can watch movies, play cards or grab some snacks to eat. Here you can have some nice conversations with your fellow passengers
On my northbound trip, there were three different times for dinner. And two on my southbound trip.
The food was pretty good. My coworker told me not to order the crab cakes for some reason .. so I listened to her

And wines was served with my meal. Fortunately, I sat with an elderly couple so they could care less for the wine. Long story short, I had the whole carafe to myself
Overall, I had enjoyable trips with them.
Be sure to bring your own pillow as the pillow they give you is so small (like the airlines pillow). And do take pics of your car before it goes in the train.
Mine was damaged (the body kit was ripped off). They did give me some insurance claim forms which I never bother since I filled out a waiver for my car being too low
edit: One thing to consider ... they're NEVER on time. It says you're supposed to arrive at your destination by 8AM the next day. After they take the cars out, I was out around 11am .. and that was because my car was one of the first to be pulled out.
