Ask to speak to the owner Gabriella Teggia and tell her your not happy. Maybe she could stay some where else and you could stay in her house that is right on the property. There is nothing else around Losari to stay at so don't let them tell you there is. That is not right. If they need the villa another room would be fine just make sure its the Merapi suites. I guess with all the problems with the earthquake they need rooms for the goverment officals to stay or maybe they had damage from the earthquake and are not able to except guests and don't want to let the press know there was damage. The Hyatt in Jogya is very nice,not Amanjiwo but very cheap and your close to the sites of Jogya and you won't have that hour long drive from Amanjiwo. Good luck and I hope it works out as I recommend this hotel to so many people.
