When we drove to Montreal in February, we saw a sign after we crossed the border that radar detectors are illegal in Quebec. We put ours in the glove compartment before we crossed the border as we knew about this in advance. Now unless the police are psychic, how would they know to pull us over (assuming we were going the speed limit) to check the glove compartment for radar detectors?
