I did always like a pen being included in the VS bags. Not just a cheap crappy pen, but one obviously Virgin branded; i.e. "different". To their credit, it was good marketing - I keep coming across them, and have one of the stubby ones in my laptop bag due to it's convenient size. CX don't miss out either; when they hand you a survey form you get a nice CX pen. All in all, I found the VS pens to be the longest lasting item from any amenity kit I've been given anywhere.
