Restaurant 162 is the new Main dining, but it's nowhere as good as the old RC Dining Room. However, if you get a window table, the views are great!

The Club Bar & Grill is the old Grill & very nice. I just peeked in, so can't speak to the food.

A few miles north is The Studio at the Montage Resort - probably the best dining in all of Orange Country, if not even more further afield. Excellent wine paired tasting & regular menus. A Cheese Concierge. Beautiful setting with view right over the beach - ask for a window table.

Mozambique, also in S Laguna, is an excellent new S African restaurant - very plush, cozy & romantic with great food. Upstairs is a fun bar & a more casual ocean view dining patio that's gorgeous.

Mirabeau in the Monarch Beach Plaza is very highly touted, but I still haven't made it there.

For romantic awesome view-filled drinks, the Splashes Bar at the Surf N Sand Hotel is right over the beach & Savoury's rooftop bar at the old La Casa de la Camino Hotel has absolutely spectacular 360 degree views - great at sunset.
