To clarify, I am picking this up in my room. I'm wondering if this is something the hotel is testing because I just encountered it again when I tried to access a page, I got a selection screen that provides me with options one of which is - 24 hours (free).

One other wireless network I picked up here is called Thamesonline which is offering 24 hours for 5.95 gbp which isn't bad if one is forced to pay for internet access.
