That does raise an interesting AA side issue, though. Does Bose just give these to AA for marketing, or do they actually pay a discounted price and buy them? If they get them for free, and Bose wants the newer model to be out there, it might be in their interest to get them on the AA flights as soon as possible. If AA buys them, in this era of counting every dollar, it could be a long time until they appear.

Anyone know what arrangement AA has on this?
