Historic buildings and some great restaurants. Reasonably high standards, but not really any better than a dozen other chains, but perhaps more consistent than LHW etc. for lodging. But their unique locations, often far out of the way, is perhaps the best feature. And their food standards, at least at the restaurant-only locations, are quite high. However most of their restaurant selections are famous, so you won't find any hidden gems -- or bargains -- in their listings.
