If its a private company, I don't blame him.

In addition, if he is the CEO, he's making a statement to his "team" that he wants to be treated in a certain way so in turn, his "team" should treat every person/customer like a VIP.

I myself have had bad experiences and have done boycotts of hotels and encouraged my company to follow suit. To this day I will NEVER set foot in a Wyndham!
