Was very lucky once.

Managed to pick up Chickenpox in either KUL or SIN, but didn't start showing the symptoms until around 2 days after arriving back home.

If the symptoms had've started showing while overseas, I would have been effectively quarantined in my hotel for another 7+ days past my original planned leaving date.

Very close call that one...
