There are now 5 different bus routes in Chiang Mai. The buses run 20 minutes apart and the price is 15 Thai baht. You can now take a bus (no.4) from the airport to the hotels close to the night bazaar, Thapae Road and the old city.

The buses also provide cheap comfortable transportation to the two bus stations, train station, shopping malls and large bepartment stores such as Big C and carrefour.
