It's Montreal. You can go just about anywhere and find a good place to hang out.

Bar Dakota is pretty good, though can be loud and busy. Bourbon St. West is a bit overdone but gets a nice mix of jazzy and latin stuff.

I dunno, I generally have dinner then just hit the streets until something grabs me. The best places I've found were random.
