If this is true, this is great news also for us (now) CO/NW types.

In short, Uncle Leo lost the tug-of-war match to Uncle Richie and Uncle Gordo.

I have little doubt that the CO/NW/DL party is partly predicated on (unofficially, of course) on trying to get their FF programs as close as possible to each other to avoid inadvertant 'poaching' of each others pre-existing customer base. Since no one else went along with DL's new game, even Aunt Vicky is probably aware that their FF program is now unquestionably the worst in the U.S., my fear has always been that DL would try to 'sell' NW/CO on how well it is working and motivate CO/NW to ruin their own plans as well.

If this turns out to be true, NW/CO are not buying DL's snake oil arguments (NW and CO no doubt have marketing data showing how many PM's have already jumped ship that they may or may not share with DL)...and DL is going to be forced to move to something closer to NW/CO or maybe US's system if they want to keep playing in the sandbox.
