I sure hope your source is correct. I'm at the crossroads now. I've requalified for UA 1P and have attained GM status the hard way for 2004. If DL reinstates unlimited upgrades for PMs, I may shift my remaining travel to DL to retain PM status next year. If not, 1K here I come.
