If it is a good offer...

I am known to book hotels on BAHolidays web site all the time. I typically book a hotel a month or two in advance when going on holidays depending on the price and if there is an offer. Two months ago, I booked a 4* central London hotel for August holiday (£130 a night on the hotel web site) for £60 a night. I typically pay about £35 - £50 for a 3* central London hotel in winter. Both cases are on offer. The booking is 100% refundable (10% cancellation fee if refund under 3 weeks).

I will only book with them if I am 100% sure that I am going on holidays those dates and the price is GOOD. I do not think that I can earn the £70 a night that I am saving on the August hotel in 4 month at the bank or on an investment, but I could be wrong. However, if the savings would only be 10%.... I wait...

Another key issue for booking on BAHolidays for USA residents is 2,000 miles for hotel booking on BAEC plus if booking with BA CC... 2 miles per $. So a $1,000 hotel booking becomes 4,000 BA EC miles.
