Ah, ClipperDelta, I knew I was correct in my concern that the phrasing of my initial question was the giveaway. FTers are too sharp not to pick up nuances and subtleties. My apologies to those on FT (We all know who they are. ) who think the 7E and 7F seats should remain a coveted secret but I just wanted to give a ray of hope to other FTers who seek the Holy Grail (in FT parlance, "the legroom and the latch") of coach seating for long-distance flights. Sometimes you just have a great day and everything works out for you. Kind of like golf where you can abuse several shots in a row but that one good one keeps you going.
