I usually run the "Continental Airlines Timetable" program (downloaded from co.com) and check all flights arriving (for example. EWR) 1 to 2 hours before my flight scheduled departure time. Then I will click on the "Equip" cell to sort the flights according to equipment type. This will narrow down the possibilities considerably. Then I will use the gate information on co.com to check the arriving gate against my departing gate. It usually doesn't take too long. Although it may not be 100% correct, it works most of the time.
