The grand old dame of luxury hotels in Agra is the Clarks Shiraz. I stayed there in January 2006. It is a little worn but still has its old charm and the service is excellent. It is also cheaper than the other 5*hotels in Agra. I got a hired car and driver in Delhi for a week. The driver stayed at our service all the time. He drove us to Jaipur and then back to the airport in Delhi. Excellent service.
