It's on Sepulveda Blvd just south (walking distance) of Manhattan Village Mall (which has multiple restaurants if you get tired of cooking in the room, and movie theatres, as well as Ralph's grocery store). It's also just north of Target/Baskin Robbins/Blockbuster Video.

It's driving or cab distance (but not more than 1.5 miles) from downtown Manhattan Beach/the pier, so lots of retaurants/shops/restaurants there.

Also if you have a car, just east of the Manhattan Village Mall (a mile from RI) are more shops, restaurants, bars, grocery stores: Bristol Farms - great gourmet take-out & cook in your room food, Trader Joe's (healthy but good stuff).
