I thought it sounded like he was just booking the room through the TA.. Could be wrong.. But maybe his TA doesn't have a website, so he can't use the "best price guarantee"?

Also, for some reason, the moderator thought I was being sarcastic to FlyMan. I wasn't, I thought the fact that you can call Starwood with PARTNER codes and have them plug them in is pretty awesome. I'd always prefer to book directly, instead of through intermediaries. So I really appreciated him posting that. So FlyMan, if you didnt see my post earlier, thanks again.
