Since First is always, aways boarded before coach how is this a problem?</font>
It is a problem when there is a tight connection. There always seem to be somebody (and sometimes it is yourself) who huffing and puffing gets to their seat 5-10 minutes before door closing - and where after opening multiple bins a mega-puzzle needs to be remade by the FA and the passenger to get space for that carry-on.
This often happens to me when connecting from Europe through JFK where, as discussed in other threads, I more often than not have to run to be at the gate 5-10 minutes prior to departue on the connecting flight. The official connect time has been severely impeeded by the "routine" 30-60 minute delays from Europe, the occaisional immigration waits, the security re-screening and the emerging fact that suitcases labled with the PM or BC "Priority tags" are unloaded last, (unless you have two checked where one is unloaded first and the other last!! --> talking about a Pet Peeve!)
