I'm sorry, I just don't see it this way. Someone who doesn't fly much isn't going to start flying more just because he got higher status in the frequent flyer program. Does that really influence your decision to fly or not?

It may influence the airline I choose to fly on. However, it doesn't influence whether or not I fly.

I figure a lot of people are like that. So, if they don't fly much and got the upgraded status, well, they're not going to fly much. So, you don't have to worry about your upgrades and so on.

Besides, right now, I'm not going to bother to waste my e-upgrades. First class is nice, but if I've got a whole row to myself, why bother?
