Honestly, mileage posting for the most part is a pretty solid process. Daily, over 5,800 DL-coded flts are tracked to customers' accts. Some post as soon as the plane takes off, some a few days. The ones that take a little longer- I'm sorry. There will be errors, and until the world is perfect, I guess will see them.

OK- I'm done now. To the orig poster: was the flt coded as KE or DL?

UDH, I am glad to know you are a computer expert. Maybe you were one of the people I worked with at SITA/SITOR on linking the data chanels together.

My explanation is correct. Of course, as you have stated, there will be "data corruption" from time to time. HOWEVER, YOU ARE TOTALLY OFF!

In the past with the old alliance, data was submitted every 24 hours and all the partners alligned their systems so the FF number input and output was in the same format. The new alliance, there is no synergy between computer systems, even formats are different.

UDH, your post are normally very helpfull, this one is missleading.
