Stayed at FS Last Week

I was at the Las Vegas Four Seasons last week. This was my first time there and my overall experience was impressive. I booked their lowest rate, which included a $50/day F&B credit. The room was on the 35th floor and was not very large, but well equipped. The bathroom was very nice and water pressure great!

Above all, the service shined everywhere, especially at the pool. Every few minutes, cold ice water was brought around. Then, cold fresh fruit. Then, Evian spritzers. (That one even I don't totally get.) Very attentive crew, and a nice, quiet environment.

Dinner one night at Verandah. Nice service but a rather limited menu. We had their "create your own", where you selected an entry (which dictated the price), and then a starch, vegie, and sauce. Not a bad deal. Dinner for two, with bottle of wine and tip: $125.00.

Next night was Charlie Palmers. Nice service as would be expected. Good wine list and a very helpful wine steward. Steaks were very nice, but I think Don Shula's is better. (No Shula's in Las Vegas; closest one is at LAX Sheraton Gateway.) I have eaten at many steak houses (but no other ones in Las Vegas), and would rate this one above average. Dinner for two, with wine and tip: $400.00.

I liked the reserved ambiance of the Las Vegas Four Seasons, and coupled with excellent service, made my stay a good one. I will return.
