I saw Paris Hilton the other day on Sixth Avenue and she really does have an attitude with a capital "A". Oh well, as long as she is famous.

I am having a mad idea to spend the July 4th weekend in Palm Springs but given the heat I don't think it's practical. I would probably stay at CCBC and according to their web site their July 4th celebration is quite an event! I understand CCBC is quite a distance from the main strip but I am looking for a change of pace from the Warm Sands experience. I've visited Camp Palm Springs and have found it to be quite run down. CCBC could be a lot of fun but I don't think I want to brave the desert heat.
